Battlefield reconnaissance has revealed at least these facts about the Sea-Wing:

Air emerge -- In its base form, the sea-wing is a relatively quick-moving submarine armed with an anti-air rocket system specially designed to track and destroy flying targets. While it has no way of attacking other surface craft, it can burst from the waves into the flight-capable sky-wing form seemingly anytime.

Sea submerge -- While in sky-wing form, this vehicle's kinetic pulse-shot weapon can rapidly overwhelm unarmored targets, with results arguably superior even to the machine guns of the Soviet twinblade gunships. Unlike a helicopter, however, the sky-wing must remain constantly in flight, and unlike any known vehicle, it may simply dive back into the water to avoid harm.

Nearly undetectable underwater -- While underwater, the sea-wing is undetectable to most radar scans, and cannot be attacked directly by common weapons. It does become vulnerable when surfacing to fire, though having first-attack advantage has proven to be essential to Imperial battle tactics.

Target spotting -- While the sea-wing is extremely capable on its own, it seems designed to work even better in concert with other Imperial forces, including naval forces such as the feared Shogun-class battleships. In sky-wing form, these craft can help the Shoguns' main battery guns track inland targets.

The power of the mind -- Yuriko needs no conventional weapons, for her mind is more than enough. She may levitate and crush even the largest tank; topple even the most firmly-rooted structure; cast aside entire infantry platoons; and drag even the most stubborn aircraft down into the ground.

Levitation -- As if to flaunt her psychic ability, Yuriko appears never to resort to normal-human means of locomotion. Instead, she hovers aloft roughly a meter off the ground. Apart from being impressive, this means she can traverse land and sea with equal disregard.

Psychokinetic burst -- In theory, a platoon of trained soldiers should be capable of overwhelming Yuriko Omega. In practice, Yuriko Omega seems able to occasionally channel massive amounts of psionic energy into some sort of attack that sends men flying as if from an incredible explosion.

Sole survivor -- It is believed that Yuriko Omega is indeed a unique individual in the Imperial military, rather than a member of a group, as there appears to be only one of her. There is no compelling reason to believe that carbon-copied "clones" of her exist, as only one of her has ever been spotted in a single place.

Red Alert 3 New Tankbuster of Empire of the Rising Sun

Designation: Anti-Armor Infantry
Training Headquarters: Genbu Barracks, Abashiri
National Origin: Japan
Mass-Produced at: Imperial Instant Dojo
Creed: "There is no metal which we cannot melt

Key Features:
» MX-19 plasma-cutter cannon
» Sunburst armored headgear
» Rations for extended stays underground
» Self-powered plasma fuel cell
» Equipment harness for mobility

Enemy of armor -- Plasma-cutter cannons are exceptionally effective against vehicles or anything made of metal, and must have been created solely for that purpose. The weapons are tuned to a special frequency that causes only light burns to unprotected skin, possibly for the tankbusters' own protection.

Life in a spider-hole -- Being able to drop underground almost instantly is part of what makes tankbusters so dangerous, since a tank cannot so much as crush one of these men in this state. While burrowed, tankbusters are well-protected against most weapons, though they cannot retaliate either.

A heavy burden -- The bulk of tankbusters' equipment, including those wide-brimmed hats, means their firepower can only be brought to bear directly ahead. This was observed when the same surveillance aircraft that first spotted tankbusters managed to escape intact. Consequently and ironically, standard frontline infantry are proving to be the most capable at neutralizing these threats.

The sleeper ambush -- Somehow and at some point, the Empire of the Rising Sun must have planted tankbuster sleeper cells in militarized zones on Soviet and Allied borders. How else to explain rare cases of tankbuster squads suddenly bursting from the earth to attack without warning...?

Designation: Advanced Anti-Armor Tank
Manufacturer: Arkhangelsk Tank Plant
National Origin: U.S.S.R.
Mass-Produced at: Soviet War Factory
Key Features:
» 125mm Drakon cannon (x2)
» Schuka magnetic harpoon
» Myasorubka chain-treads
» 16-layer reinforced steel armor
» Tesla reactor eliminates 70% emissions

Unstoppable -- The apocalypse tank can simply roll over anything that survives its main guns. Main battle tanks, let alone smaller vehicles, can easily be crushed under the apocalypse tank's treads.

The sinister M-harpoon -- The apocalypse can effectively spear and reel in other vehicles using the M-harpoon, or even drag itself toward structures. However, the magnet requires an extreme amount of energy, so the tank's main guns are rendered inoperable while the M-harpoon is active.

Pure anti-armor -- While the apocalypse tank has nothing to fear from lesser vehicles, its crew's limited visibility combined with its armor-piercing ammunition means it is less effective against very small targets, namely infantry. Commanders also admit that the apocalypse requires anti-air support.

Worth its weight in ore -- The apocalypse tank and its two main guns and 16-layer armor don't come cheap. On top of that, the schematics for manufacturing these vehicles in the field are authorized only by battle lab technicians required to study the tank's performance characteristics.

Designation: Anti-Ship Scount
Training Headquarters: Carmichael Aqualabs, Glasgow
Field-Trained at: Allied Seaport
Creed: "Skree'ee--eee, eeek!" (Lit. "Freedom at any cost!")
Accessories:
» WP100 sonic disruptor
» Portable surveillance array
» Microchip ensures visibility on radar
» Form-fitting streamlined "uniform"
» Reinforced dorsal fin enhances speed

Sonic disruptors -- Allied dolphins are expert fighters, well-trained with the sonic disruptor weapons custom-fitted around their flippers and dorsal fin. These weapons fire rapidly and are effective against all type of ships, without causing any environmental side-effects.

The high-flying high jump -- The Allies' specially-trained dolphins have truly mastered the technique of leaping forth from out of the waves. They can jump much higher and farther than their wild brethren, which presents a variety of tactical benefits.

Superior scan range -- While dolphins are formidable combatants, they are primarily used for reconnaissance. Between their natural speed and their top-of-the-line surveillance equipment, they can locate hostile forces well before they themselves are spotted--then quickly report back to base by back-swimming in a tail-stand.

Bred for battle -- Because Allied dolphins are born to serve the cause of freedom, and because they have no use for monetary compensation, ultimately the Allies are able to train these creatures for a rather modest sum. Proceeds go to animal rights organizations and aquatic weapons research.

Designation: Advanced Anti-Armor Vessel
Manufacturer: Gerhardt-Giraud Shipworks
National Origin: U.S.A.
Mass-Produced at: Allied Seaport
Key Features:
» Reugart-GX 120 mm swivel-cannon
» State-of the art Black Hole Armor
» Reinforced composite hull
» All-terrain treads deploy on contact
» Front scoop clears, crushes obstacles

Amphibious assault -- Assault destroyers have similar handling characteristics both at sea and on land, though their typically-gruff, typically-proud captains scoff at this suggestion, pointing to myriad nuances such as how the vessels can only move in reverse while on land, and so forth.

Black-Hole armor -- The "secret weapon" of the assault destroyer is some sort of field that draws fire into it while supercharging the vessel's defensive strength even further. Some allege that Allied spies stole this technology from the Soviets, who have been researching military magnets for decades.

For surface use only -- While powerful, the assault destroyer's main gun is only effective against surface targets, leaving the vessel with no direct response against enemy aircraft. Soviet subs also pose a threat to assault destroyers. Debate continues over whether these vessels are evenly matched.

Stay out of its way -- On land, the assault destroyer can simply crush smaller vehicles, let alone enemy foot soldiers. Infantry are still considered a threat to these vessels, however, since its main gun is too bulky to be effective against them.

Designation: Heavy Bombardment Ship
Manufacturer: Gerhardt-Giraud Shipworks
National Origin: U.S.A.
Mass-Produced at: Allied Seaport
Key Features:
» "Sky Knight" UCAV drone bays
» Blackout missile launcher
» Internal assembly replenishes UCAVs
» Extreme communications range
» Enclosed bays keep runway clear

Drones a-plenty -- A carrier's squadrons of drones can overwhelm even the most heavily defended installation. Should any drones be shot down, the carrier can quickly and automatically replenish them. Some carrier captains have been known to use their drones to screen for more-precious Allied aircraft.

Lights out -- In addition to all those combat drones, a carrier's launch bay conceals the Blackout Missile, which can be used to power down vehicles or structures from an extreme range. The missile's defensive and offensive potential makes carriers even more survivable alone, or even more useful in a strike force.

Specialized bombardment -- Intended for concerted use with other Allied forces, aircraft carriers are purely for anti-surface operations. The Allies have staunchly defended against complaints of aircraft carriers' lack of anti-air defenses, noting that their hydrofoils provide superior anti-air support.

Punishment at a premium -- Aircraft carriers are expensive, high-tech vessels, which means they are a relatively uncommon sight. Though far less cost-prohibitive than some of the failed carrier designs proposed in the past, the model in use today still is one of the priciest fixtures of Allied warfare.

Designation: Air Superiority Jet
Manufacturer: Angstrom Defense
National Origin: Sweden
Mass-Produced at: Allied Airbase

Key Features:
» 20 mm PV-7 "Sol" autocannons (x2)
» VTOL design allows for rapid deployment
» Triple thrust vectors provide maximum stability
» Upgrade kit boosts scan range and ammo capacity
» Brushed-titanium fuselage resists soot and rust

The sky hunter -- You couldn't point to a more-specialized vehicle in the Allied arsenal than the Apollo, which is directly and exclusively suited to its role as an air-superiority fighter. While it cannot retaliate against surface targets, it is fast enough to simply outpace them.

Autocannon or bust -- Unlike more-versatile and more expensive aircraft, the Apollo is armed with just one type of weapon. On the plus side, this autocannon can cut through all but the most heavily-armored enemy aircraft in moments, and can sustain firing constantly without overheating danger or loss of accuracy.

Upgrade kit available -- On authority from the Allied leadership team, some commanders are beginning to field newly-enhanced Apollo Fighters featuring the latest in advanced aeronautics. This upgrade kit enhances Apollos with more ammo capacity as well as superior armor and scanners.

RTB on demand -- Like some other Allied aircraft, Apollos have an autopilot mechanism that causes them to return to base immediately using an emergency afterburner. This lets the Apollo deftly retreat from dangerous situations or rearm its weapon as quickly as possible.

Designation: Resource Gathering / Expansion
Manufacturer: Well-Refined Ore Corporation
National Origin: U.S.A.
Mass-Produced at: Allied Armor Facility / Seaport

Key Features:
» Cargo bin optimized for ore delivery
» Collapsible air cushion for aquatic travel
» Encrypted communications array
» Durable outer shell
» Command Hub conversion kit

Easy does it -- A single prospector is included in the cost of an Allied ore refinery, and will immediately begin gathering resources from the nearest ore mine. One prospector is designed to efficiently gather from a single source, so it simply needs to be defended as it goes about its gathering route.

On-demand Command Hub -- Each prospector is outfitted to convert into an Allied command hub when the need arises (though the conversion is irreversibly complex). Command hubs provide clearance for other Allied structures to be built nearby, and also relay other important data to those structures.

Amphibious resourcing -- Prospectors can traverse land and water with equal ease, because of their automated aqua-sensitive air cushions. Their driving characteristics are similar on all terrain.

Unarmed but not defenseless -- When threatened by Soviet conscripts or other raiding parties operating on foot, Allied prospector drivers have been known to drive straight through the danger. Running down enemy combatants is strongly discouraged by Allied publicists.

Designation: Heavy Bomber / Troop Transport
Training Headquarters: Norwell-Hucks Corp.
National Origin: U.S.A
Mass-Produced at: Allied Airbase

Key Features:
» "Jethro" 500 lb. gravity bomb load-out
» VTOL design allows for rapid deployment
» Jointed wings for optimal storage
» Armored passenger cabin / bomb bay
» Brushed-aluminum outer hull resists soot and rust

Carpet bombing -- The Century is intended for use against enemy strongholds, as its bomb load-out makes up for a lack of overall accuracy with a great deal of punch. A given bomber tends to release its payload leading up to its coordinates, to ensure the maximum number of bombs is on target.

Bring an entourage -- While the Century is respectably swift for a heavy bomber, it of course is slower than, say, a Soviet air superiority fighter. The Century is able to shrug off some anti-aircraft fire en route to its destination, but ultimately requires support to continue operating in enemy airspace.

Plenty of parachutes -- Infantry loaded in a Century Bomber are always prepared to deploy via parachute. Parachutists of course are vulnerable to anti-aircraft fire.

A flying bomb -- Though the Century is highly unlikely to explode in midair, this aircraft is fitted with so many sophisticated systems that it is designed to detonate and combust on impact, should it crash. As a result, the Soviets have yet to recover any data from the few Centuries that have gone down.
